What is Arthritis?

It is the inflammation of one or more articulations. An articulation is the area where two bones are. They exist more than 100 types different from arthritis.

The arthritis involves the degradation of the cartilage, which usually protects an articulation, allowing that this moves in a soft way. The cartilage also absorbs the blow when pressure is exercised on the articulation, like it happens when one walks. Without the usual quantity of cartilage, the bones rub, causing pain, swelling (inflammation) and rigidity.

The inflammation of the articulation can be of:

An auto-immune illness ("the immune system of the body attacks by mistake to the healthy" fabric). This for us is not certain; as it is possible that their same body is attacked for if same?. We believe that it can be an infection like the borreliosis or lyme illness.

He/she fractures bony.

"Wear away and general deterioration" of the articulations.

Infection, generally for bacteria or virus.

As a rule, the inflammation to articulate disappears after the cause disappears or he/she receives treatment. Sometimes, it doesn't happen this way. When this happens, you have chronic arthritis. The arthritis can show up in men and women.

The arthritis causes pain, swelling, rigidity and movement limited in the articulation. The symptoms can embrace:

Joint pain.

Inflammation in Joints.

Decrease of the capacity to move the Joints.

Skin redness around a Joint.

Rigidity, especially in the morning.

Heat around an articulation.

Typical Treatment

Generally the doctors, first recommend the medications of free sale:

Paracetamol (Tylenol), it can cause hepatic damage.

Acid acetilsalicílico (aspirin), the ibuprofen or the naproxen are antinflammatory non steroids (AINES) that can alleviate the pain of the arthritis. However, they have potential many risks, especially if they are used during a lingering period. The effects secondary potentials embrace heart attack, accident cerebrovascular, stomach ulcers, bled of the alimentary canal and renal damage.

The medications that you/they need recipe embrace:

The biological ones that are used for the treatment of the arthritis and they embrace:

Etanercept (Enbrel), infliximab (Remicade), adalimumab (Humira), abatacept (Orencia), rituximab (Rituxan), golimumab (Simponi), certolizumab (Cimzia) and tocilizumab (Actemra).

These medications can have secondary serious effects.

The corticosteroids ("steroids") helps to reduce the inflammation.

They can be injected in articulations that present pain or they can be administered for via oral.

They can cause very serious effects if they take in a lingering way.

The medications modifier antirheumatics of the illness (DMARD, for their initials in English) are used to treat arthritis and they embrace:

Metotrexate (it is used for and treatment of Cancer, salts of gold, penicilamine, sulfasalazine and hidroxicloroquine, they can cause adverse very serious effects.

The inmunodepressive drugs, as azathioprine or cyclophosphamide, is used to try patient with rheumatoid arthritis when other medications have not worked, but the collateral effects are serious.

Hospital Mexico Treatment

In our treatments we don't use all these medications that can cause but I damage that the same illness, that makes it is to attack the cause of the suffering that we almost always think that it is the borreliosis or lyme illness, we administer different classes of Antibiotics together with other medications, none of the previous ones and in three to four months the patient this cured one forever.

We have to watch over the patient of their hepatic function, anemia, decrease of the leukocytes, etc. for that situation we are about seeing the patient every month or we will have to monitor it with exams of laboratory of their origin place.

Our causistica is of a cure of 90% of our patients. If the patient continues with her problem, they were investigated other associate illnesses that can cause arthritic symptoms.

We almost always relate it with the borreliosis or lyme illness for which we have the definitive cure.

The medical internists or rheumatologist don't know the borreliosis and they have the sick persons as their patients per years and they don't cure them; if they knew the borreliosis or lyme illness they would have the definitive cure for their sick persons in 4 to 6 months.

Carla, has suffered 6 years with migraine.

Rene, 4 years with rheumatoid arthritis.

Florina, 3 years with Lupus.

Irene, diagnosed by fibromyalgia.

Dr. Manuel R. Lazo

Medical Director

Hi, I am Dr. Manuel Lazo, Hospital Mexico’ s medical director. We have been treating patients for over 20 years, and seen that the traditional treatments do not cure, but instead only calms the symptoms for a while, as the disease keeps progressing and the medications are not only expensive but they can have horrible side effects.

Our Hospital is one of the few places in the world where patients with migraine, arthritis, lower back pain and facial paralysis could be cured.

About our treatment

When you come here for consult, we do dark field microscopy in which we look for spirochaetes in your blood.

We take away your symptoms and cure your disease with antibiotics, depending on the patient and severity of the problem. We do not use natural or “alternative” medicine, only antibiotics which can be purchased at a pharmacy.
